More about Karina. She is a global governance specialist, board member and board advisor. In the last 25 years she has worked with organisations across more than 30 countries, advising on highly complex / high-pressured environments. Her roles operate at the heart of business: finance, technical governance, ethics, strategy, and performance improvement, particularly within the utilities and investment sectors.
Her ability to navigate turbulent times is deeply personal. Karina had to rapidly evacuate her family from the front line during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This experience completely redefined her perspective on crisis management, resilience, and what it truly means to maintain clarity under extreme pressure. Karina balances her professional advisory work with endurance sports. She aligns thriving (not just surviving) with leadership in the toughest scenarios, with deep internal alignment, and preparedness. She has the support of her “crew” to keep her steady through it all.
Within 18+ years in senior roles at PwC UK, her projects included IPO readiness, Mergers and Acquisitions, Remuneration and Nomination Committees and active membership of Audit and Ethics Committees. Today she leads in Sustainable AI finance technology and ESG data; scaling up businesses, driving strategic partnerships and sustainable investing.
